Many thanks,

This has to be the nicest 1953 “Fat Arrow” that we have seen in our 30+ years of watch collecting. The watch was, in March of 2014, returned from Omega after a service and clean but fortunately the person sending the watch to Omega was wise enough to dictate how far the watchmaker went with the refurbishment!

The watch has had a complete strip down and service but we believe still retains all its original features and parts. The case is still as sharp and clean as when it left the factory originally in 1953, barring odd signs of wear.

The watch, when returned by Omega, came back on a brand new black leather Omega strap and pin buckle and will come with the remainder of its two-year Omega warranty (from 14 March 2014).

The watch dial is the “circled T” “Fat Arrow” denoting the dial was changed from the original radium to the later tritium per the many stories you will read on the Internet.

In our opinion this is one of the nicest military watches of its era for size and thickness of case — and it wears beautifully at 37mm.
