Rare c.1945 Timor WWW ‘Dirty Dozen’ British military watch.

A lovely ‘dirty dozen’ manufactured for the Ministry of Defence towards the end of WWII, this watch has aged really nicely and survives the war in great condition. Dagger hands with a light blue tone in the insert are still sharp, and have amazingly aged uniformly without the darker blemishes associated with many of the dozen. Aging has also been largely avoided by the hour markers, which though a different colour, remain intact and illuminate the vintage feel to this military masterpiece. This is tied together by the caramel ‘Timor’ branding, sub-seconds dial and rehaut.

The case naturally shows signs of wear, but this is impressively minimal, with case edges and lugs still in fantastic condition. A true collectable staple in the world of watches.
