Resco was not conceived overnight but rather over many years of careful planning and consideration. As a matter of fact, R.E. dreamed of building a watch company many years ago but due to the dynamic nature of his "Day Job," things had to be put on hold. During this time, designs were refined and plans were laid just waiting for the right time to be set into motion. In 2009, the time was right. Founded in 2009, Resco Instruments set out to build a sleek, simple and rugged timepiece. This vision was realized with the production of the Gen1 Patriot model.

A handsome piece of kit from Resco here, in mint condition and supplied with its original box and papers, this is a really good buy at less than its current list price and in such fantastic condition. The intense black dial boasts a brilliant white outer minute track, luminous sword shape baton hour plots and chunky sword hands with luminous inserts, a central seconds hand and a subtle date aperture at 3 o'clock.

The dial is encapsulated underneath domed sapphire crystal with a single inner AR (Anti Reflective) coating and finished with a unidirectional bezel in black and steel with a steel caseback. The watch is supplied on its original black textile NATO-style strap which is also in mint condition and looks completely unworn. This watch combines stylish form with practical function. As Resco say - "Do yourself a solid and pick one up before you get back in the water."
