A Handsome and Very Collectible Vintage Seamaster 300 from c.1968 with Big Triangle at 12 o'clock and Deep Coffee Coloured Lume. 

The Seamaster is the longest-running product line still produced by Omega. It was introduced in 1948 and was loosely based upon designs made for the British Royal Navy towards the end of World War II. The original Seamaster's key feature was an O-ring gasket used to provide its waterproof seal.

In 1957, when scuba diving was the en vogue sport, Omega rolled out a trio of 'Master' watches - The Speedmaster, The Railmaster, and The Seamaster 300. Unlike its predecessor, the Seamaster 300 was specifically designed for underwater use.

What’s On Offer 

The Seamaster 300 remains a robust-looking watch, even when compared to its modern counterparts. Its substantial proportions and sporty bakelite bezel, chunky sword hands, and partial Arabics along with the date aperture at 3 o'clock combine to offer all of the hallmarks of this iconic vintage Omega dive watch. The Omega bloodline runs throughout this watch from the crystal to the domed crown and etched Hippocampus on the caseback. The lume has aged to a deep coffee colour which allows the Omega and Seamaster signatures in white to pop nicely. Inside is ticking an Omega caliber 565 movement, which allows a quick date adjustment by pushing and pulling the winding crown in and out. 

This is an absolute beauty, really collectible, and still very wearable, paired with an original Omega signed bracelet with a folding clasp and marked "J/M" which is correct for a watch that originally came from Mexico!
